Our Cardiologists are in high demand, and waiting times for routine appointments will vary from time to time.  However, we will always do our utmost to accommodate any urgent requests, ensuring we communicate with referring Doctors to obtain any essential information necessary to facilitate your appointment.

Patient Information

Before my visit

Before you attend your appointment, please ensure you obtain the following:

• A referral from your GP or Specialist 
• Your Medicare and Health Fund details
• Copies of any relevant investigations you have had done recently, e.g. X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans
• Copies of any recent blood tests you have had performed
• A list of all medications that you are currently taking
• A list of any known drug allergies and the symptoms you may have from taking these medicines
• If you have had surgery elsewhere, please bring a copy of your operation report
• Details of any previous echocardiograms or stress echocardiograms
• Have you recently been in hospital?  Please bring with you a copy of your discharge summary.

Cancelling appointment

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call our office during business hours and allow at least 1 day's notice if possible.  This will allow us to offer your appointment slot to a patient on our waiting list.  

We acknowledge that your time is valuable, and we make every effort to run on time.  Occasionally, an emergency will occur, or some patients may be more complex than others and may require a little more time, resulting in scheduling delays beyond our control.  Our staff will endeavour to keep you informed regarding any delays to your appointment.  Thank you for your understanding.
