Dr Emily Hodkinson is a Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in electrophysiology and pacing. Emily is from Northern Ireland and graduated from the University of Manchester in 2004, following completion of their Medicine with French language programme.
She went on to complete advance Cardiology training in Belfast and then came to Sydney to further her training. She completed research into inherited cardiac channelopathies, namely Long QT Syndrome, at the Victor Chang Institute.
Emily then went on to complete advanced clinical fellowships in Cardiology and electrophysiology/pacing alongside leaders in electrophysiology in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, as well as the Royal Brampton and Harefield Hospitals in London, where she gained further experience in atrial fibrillation ablation, congenital heart disease, and pacing.
Emily is happy to accept referrals for general cardiology, electrophysiology and pacing, as well as palpitations, fainting and dizzy spells.
